Youth shot dead in Jammu

Jammu: In what is believed to be a case of person rivalry, a youth was shot dead in Jammu on Wednesday morning.

The incident took place in Gharota area of Jammu outskirts. The deceased has been identified as Arvind.

Police said Arvind was shot at by one Lakhanpal with his father’s 12 bore licensed weapon.  “Arvind succumbed to injuries. The accused was arrested and was taken into custody,” the Police said, adding the matter was being investigated.
