Youth, policeman facilitated for saving drowning woman in Srinagar

SRINAGAR: The Srinagar Police on Friday felicitated a youth and a cop for saving the life of a woman who jumped into Jhelum from Nawa Kadal Bridge.

Srinagar police in a tweet said that “SSP Srinagar felicitated one youth namely Khabeeb Muneer Dar S/o Muneer Dar of Palpora and one cop Niyaz Ahmed of Safa Kadal PS for saving the life of a woman who jumped into Jhelum from Nawa Kadal bridge on 2nd February 2023. They were given commendation certificates and cash rewards”.
