SRINAGAR: A 22-year-old boy has been arrested by Jammu and Kashmir Police for allegedly raping a minor relative in Srinagar.

The accused has been identified as Zaid Feroz of Barzulla Srinagar

Srinagar Police in a tweet said, “One Accused namely Zaid Feroz of old Barzulla, Srinagar aged 22 years arrested for raping a 12 year old child (name withheld). The accused is close relative of victim girl child. FIR no 56/2023 under sections 5, 6 of POCSO act registered in Sadar PS & investigation started”.
