SRINAGAR: The fixture for the high voltage India vs Pakistan clash during World Cup 2023 had been set with two archrivals taking on eachother in Ahmedabad on October 15.
A report in Cricbuzz has claimed that fixture has been set and two teams will be locking horns on October 15.
Meanwhile there are still some issues that need to be resolved, as the PCB has concerns about playing the highly anticipated match in Ahmedabad.
It is reported that PCB Chief, Najam Sethi, recently visited the ICC office in Dubai to express his concerns about the matter.
Pakistan matches are likely to take place in four different venues, namely – Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, all located in South India. If Pakistan makes it to the final of the World Cup 2023, the PCB has agreed to play the final in Ahmedabad.
