World Cancer Day: Nation’s Development Association organises relief cum awareness camp

Bishnah: Nations Development Association (NDA), NGO in collaboration with Medanta Delhi NCR (Gurugram) and Directorate of AYUSH J&K organized a free health check-up camp on Saturday.

Free immunity boosting drugs supplied by Directorate of AYUSH J&K, Merkury Era Lab were distributed at Jai Maa Chandi Computer Institute, Bishnah District Jammu J&K here.

Organizer of the camp Sushil Singh Charak who is the Founder cum Chief functionary of NDA said, “Such camps for needy people will be organized periodically at various places in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.”

Nearly 200 people were examined by Dr Vamsi Megugala Senior Consultant Cardiologist and Arvind Sharma, SMO Chest Physician deputed by Medanta Delhi NCR (Gurugram), Dr Veenu Gupta MO Directorate of AYUSH J&K and Dr Rajiv Bhagat General Physician SDH Bishnah.

The camp was inaugurated by Sham Lal Choudhary Former Minister PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control of J&K, Abhishake Abrol Sub Divisional Magistrate SDM Jammu South, Surinder Singh Sub Divisional Police Officer SDPO RS Pura, were Preside Over the Function.

Chief Functionary Nations Development Association (NGO), Sushil Singh Charak expressed his gratitude to Medanta Management deputing competent team of doctors and providing free health checkup. Patients underwent free diagnostic check up and health check-up by the Dr Vamsi Megugala Senior Consultant Cardiologist and Arvind Sharma, SMO Chest Physician and were given consultation.

He also appreciated the role of Aati Sowal Member of Nations Development Association,Madhu Secretary of NDA and his team members for providing logistic and for making local arrangements.
The event was coordinated by Sudhanshu Sharma DGM and Sandeep Singh Jamwal Assistant Marketing Manager, Medanta Delhi NCR (Gurugram) .

Speaking on these important initiatives Chief Guest of the camp Sham Lal Choudhary Former Minister of PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Jammu and Kashmir, said, “NGOs like Nations Development Association are committed to undertake a number of social activities in the larger interest of the community.

Abhishake Abrol Sub Divisional Magistrate SDM Jammu South, Surinder Singh Sub Divisional Police Officer SDPO RS Pura said, healthcare nowadays is not affordable by everyone living in the society and underprivileged people are deprived of this basic right.

“We believe access to good healthcare is a basic right of every individual and these initiatives’ are the real efforts towards serving mankind.”
