Workshop on ‘Professional Ethics & Human Values’ Concludes at SMVDU

Jammu, March 19: A one-week long workshop on’Professional Ethics & Human Values – a Gandhian Perspective’ organized by the Faculty Development Centre (FDC)  at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) concluded with the valedictory session.

This session was chaired by Prof. (Dr.) D. Mukhopadhyay, Coordinator FDC, Dean FoM & FoHSS, who distributed the certificates to the participants. Teachers from Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Indore, Hyderabad, Kargil and Jammu participated in the workshop which was chiefly conducted by Mr. Sanjeev Chopra, Member, Human Values Cell, Delhi Government.

All the participants were impressed with the content and the manner in which the workshop was conducted; also expressed their desire to attend more such workshops which address the issues for ensuring individual happiness, relations in family and harmony in society. The valedictory session was also attended by Dr. Anil Kumar Tewari, Head SoPC, Mr. Deo Prakash and Dr. Manoj K. Verma from SoCSE, Mr. Varun Dutta, Sanjay Sharma from SoME and Mr. Sandeep Kumar from SoM. Mr. Samir Vohra, Asstt. Registrar and TO,FDC and Ms. Kanchan Gupta Section Officer were also felicitated for their key role in organizing the workshop. The workshop concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Madhu Mangal Chaturvedi.
