Will bring Bandipora on Tourism map in Valley: MP Lone

BANDIPORA, Apr 10 (KNO): Member of Parliament from North Kashmir and senior National Conference leader Mohammad Akbar Lone Saturday said that he will provide every support to administration in order to uplift the tourism sector in the district.

Lone, as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said that he will provide all financial support to uplift the tourism sector in the district as it is blessed with natural beauty.

He said that Gurez has been all-time favorite tourism area in North Kashmir which requires due attention with regard to its development and tourism attention.

Lone also said that Wullar-lake which has been centre of attention all the time has got the full scope of tourism facilities.

“We can promote its beauty and scope so that Bandipora will get due attention of tourists,” he said

About Bandipora dilapidated roads Lone said that the repair work will start on where ever needed.

“I have discussed with Deputy Commissioner Bandipora about the Sumbal-Bandipora road which needs immediate treatment and hopefully, the work will be started within a couple of weeks,” he said.

Lone today visited the Mini Secretariat Bandipora where he chaired a meeting of various concerned officers and took a detailed review of the implementation of various centrally sponsored schemes and projects—(KNO)
