Vikas Kundal called for stakeholders to work together to ensure minimal environmental damage

Discusses bottlenecks hampering execution of developmental projects

RAJOURI: Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal held a meeting to discuss forest clearance issues, land compensation and developmental bottlenecks on projects executed by different departments in the district.

The DC highlighted the importance of proper forest clearance procedures for ecologically responsible development projects. He called for stakeholders to work together to ensure minimal environmental damage. A detailed discussion on land compensation and other issues was held.

The DC proposed measures to fast-track development process and improve coordination with government departments for timely completion of projects. He directed authorities to resolve legal issues arising from delay in forest clearance or land compensation.
