Video | Will revoke PSA if NC elected to power: Omar


Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference (NC) vice-president Omar Abdullah said Monday that if elected to power with a majority, his government would revoke the J&K Public Safety Act.


Omar Abdullah said that the day National Conference makes its government on its own, God willing in 2019, “within days I will repeal PSA.” He further added, “I will blot it out from the papers forever.”


Addressing an election rally in Block office at Bandipora area of North Kashmir’s District, the Omar Abdullah said that his party National Conference will “never give up its demand of reversing the erosions in Article 370 and will keep striving for the restoration of Internal Autonomy in Jammu and Kashmir.”


Omar said, “We have to first win the hearts of Kashmir because the recent Govt has failed to do that.” He added that there is a huge gap between Delhi and Kashmir, “we will try to fill this gap.”
