Video | 9th class student designs drone, makes J&K proud

Aryan Khan, a 15-year-old boy from Baramulla, North Kashmir, has made whole Jammu and Kashmir proud by designing a drone, all by himself.

A 9th class student at Mohammad Education institute Khore Sheerabad Pattan, Aryan spent three years to make this drone. The drone, as he says, is economical and safer.

The drone helps in aerial photography. It is an achievement for anyone, at this young age.

The drone designing required him to learn several softwares, assemble hardware and make certain programmes. He did all of it, in a tight budget provided by the family.

“I thank my family and school for their unconditional support throughout the project. I appeal to the government to help me with finances, so that I can develop more such equipment with better technology and usage,” he says.

His future plans include an electric bike, which would cover at least 90 kms with single charging.
