Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu today urged newly elected Rajya Sabha members to discuss, debate and dissent in the House.

He was inaugurating a two- day orientation programme on aspects of Parliamentary practice and procedures, for newly elected and nominated MPs. Mr Naidu said constructive discussions lead to great legislation.

He appealed to all members to use this opportunity to learn more and more. Narrating his political journey, Mr Naidu said, today whatever he is, it is due to sheer hard work and learning. Many eminent Parliamentarians and bureaucrats will speak on different subjects in the two days.
