In a major relief to casual labours working at JKTDC, Vice Chairman JKTDC Rafi Ahmad Mir ordered immediate release of the pending wages of casual labours.
The direction came during a meeting chaired by the Vice chairman here today. He said that Chief Minister is keen to ensure overall well being of the state employees and the corporation employees in particular.
He said that there are various pending financial issues of the corporation which are under favourable consideration of the Chief Minister.
Mir also directed constitution of a high powered committee to look into issues of pending liabilities and payments of contractors with directions to furnish a report within three weeks.
