Uproar over woman’s killing in LoC shelling

The opposition National Conference MLA from Kangan Mial Altaf Ahmad here on Friday raised the issue of killing of a woman on LoC in Rajouri district and demanded a statement on the measures government is taking to restore peace and calm in border areas and rehabilitate the families who’s nears and dears are either killed or injured in the cross LoC shelling incidents.

According to the TheDispatch, as none of the ministers present in the house stood up to respond to the demand of Mian Altaf, the other opposition members created an uproar forcing the government to make a statement. Present in the house Parliamentary affairs minister Abdul Rahman Veeri told the house that government will come up with a reply after the question hour.
