Undo transitional injustice to STs, SCs: Asad Noomani

Choudhary Muhammad Asad Noomani, President, Jammu Kashmir Reserved Categories Empowerment Alliance (JKRCEA) Poonch Chapter, today lambasted several casteist organisations for perpetually attacking and rebuking depressed classes in J&K through print and electronic media.

Addressing a Press Conference at Poonch, he charged these organisations, ostensibly working for General Categories, of making all out efforts to trample upon the legitimate constitutional rights and safeguards provided to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes across Union of India.

Expressing gratitude to Governor Satya Pal Malik and members of Sate Administrative Council for clearing the proposal for the extension of Article 16-(4)A&B of constitution of India to J&K State by Presidential Ordinance for the restoration of reservation in promotion for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, Noomani on behalf of JKRCEA, urged Governor for early extension and implementation of Article 16-(4)A&B to undo the manufactured transitional injustice slapped on SCs and STs._

“SC/ST communities for the first time are feeling a sigh of relief as the Governor administration is promptly responding to undo the transitional injustice after a delegation of JKRCEA had apprised Governor and other key policy makers,” Noomani said.

Yogesh Kumar of Poonch Chapter of JKRCEA condemned anti-constitution, anti-reserved categories propaganda of few organizations propped up by select employees who otherwise have no say in their respective communities.

Shabir Ahmed, Sarpanch appealed to the Governor administration to foil the nefarious designs of these elitist forces who are hell bent upon creating bitterness among different communities.

Haji Farooq Dehdar, Chandan Kumar, Lal Hussain Terwa, Sikander Ch, Surinder Kumar, Attaullah Shad, Rajesh Kumar, Tariq Kohli, Khurshied Bajjar, Javed Dehdar, Kazam Chechi, Ghulam Mohiuddin were among several others who flanked JKRCEA President.
