UK grants approval for extradition of fugitive diamond merchant Nirav Modi

UK Home Ministry has approved the extradition of fugitive Nirav Modi. CBI officials confirmed it. The court had said that Nirav Modi had conspired to destroy evidence and has a case to answer for in India. It had accepted the contention of India to extradite Nirav Modi saying the evidence against him is prima facie sufficient to order his extradition to face the charges.
