Udhampur DIET hosts Role play, Folk Dance competition

UDHAMPUR, NOVEMBER 18:- District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Udhampur today organized National Role play and folk dance competition here at Government Model Higher Secondary School Boys.

Chief Education Officer, P.D Sharma was the chief guest while principal DIET V.K Koul presided over the function.

As many as 18 teams from different zones of the district participated.

In folk dance competition, Higher Secondary School Barta clinched the first position while Middle School Salara of zone Tikri and Higher Secondary School Thial bagged second and third positions, respectively.

In Role Play competition, Higher Secondary School Tikri, got First position whereas Girls High School Thial and Higher Secondary School Ghordi, bagged second and third position respectively.

HOD DIET Udhampur Sushma Gupta, Lecturer Music GHSS Udhampur, Dr. Sunita Sharma and Incharge District Cultural Cell Udhampur Saguna Khajuria acted as judges on the occasion.

Pertinent to mention that the first winning teams of both the events will participate in inter district competition and the best teams selected thereof will participate in National level competition.
