SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir police has arrested two policemen and has attached Station House Officer Nishat to District Police Line Srinagar for allegedly taking money from the ticket owner of Tulip garden in the summer capital Srinagar.
Reports said that the action has been taken by the Senior Superintendent of Police Srinagar Rakesh Balwal.
Reliable sources told that head constable Sarshad Ahmad and Special Police Officer (SPO) Ishfaq Ahmad were arrested and an amount of 50 thousand was also recovered from them which they have taken from the ticket owner of the tulip garden.
A police official said that Station House Officer (SHO) Nishat, Raies Hassan Wani was also attached to DPL Srinagar with immediate effect and Iqbal was posted as new SHO Nishat. (KDC)
