Jammu, Nov 30: Police on Monday arrested two Kashmir based narcotic smugglers with contraband of cannabis in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police spokesman here said that two narcotic smugglers were nabbed at naka point Tikri in Udhampur when police party intercepted a truck for checking.
He said that during search, 27 kg of charas was recovered from the possession of two narcotic smugglers who were arrested on the spot.
They were identified as Danish Rehman of Bijbehara, Anantnag and Aabid Ahmed Reshi of Bijbehara, Anantnag.
The narcotics consignment along with the involved vehicle was seized while a case has been registered and investigation started.
