SHOPIAN: Two more militants have been killed in an encounter taking a toll to four in the Badigam area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Thursday.

Official sources told that two more militants have been killed in addition to two militants killed earlier, however the identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained.

Earlier said that a joint team of police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Badigam.

As the joint team of forces approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.(GNS)
