Two militants and an army soldier were killed in an ongoing operation in forest area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Thursday.
Defence PRO Col Rajesh Kalia told that two militants have been killed in the operation so far.
The identity of the militants was yet to be ascertained.
An army soldier was also injured during the gunfight early today who was shifted to hospital however, he succumbed to injuries.
Pertinently, the operation against militants was launched last week in Panar forest area despite a ceasefire in place from the government forces side.
The operation was still going on, Kalia said.
