Two killed, three injured in Doda road mishap

Jammu, Aug 24: Two persons including a woman was killed and three injured when a car they were travelling in met with an accident in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Police here on Monday said that a car without registration number on Sunday night met with an accident due to dense fog at Daggan Top.

The vehicle was on way from Gool to Judda, police said and added that when it reached near Dagantop, skidded off from the road and fell into a deep gorge due to which two persons died on the spot.

The deceased were identified as Reyaz Ahmed (24) of Dimi Budhan and Samina Akhter (28) Wife of Mohammad Shakeel of Judda, tehsil Arnas died on the spot.

Three injured persons namely Mohammad Shakeel (35), son of Showket Ali, resident of Judda, Tehsil Arnas and his daughters, Myra (6) and Mehar (8 months) were admitted to Primary Health Centre, Mahore.

Pertinent to mention here that out of five members, four were of a family.

Police, however, have taken the cognisance into the case.
