SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Police has arrested two fraudsters with 440 fake gold biscuits in Srinagar.

The two accused have been identified as Tahir Ahmad Mughal of Choth waliwar ganderbal and Nazir Ahmad Khan of Kupwara. As per the police, both the individuals were planning to cheat public by selling fake gold biscuits.

Srinagar Police in a Tweet said, “Two Fraudsters namely: 1) Tahir Ahmad Mughal of Choth waliwar ganderbal & 2) Nazir Ahmad Khan of kupwara a/p Baghi mehtab Srinagar arrested with 440 fake gold biscuits. They were planning to cheat public by selling them as Gold. FIR in relevant sections registered in Bemina PS”.
