BARAMULLA: Two drug peddlers have been arrested along with 48 tabs of Spasmo Proxyvon Plus 75 tabs of Alprox recovered at Ferozpora Tangmarg during routine patrolling, Baramulla Police said Sunday.
Baramulla Police in a statement said under the supervision of Imtiaz Ahmed-JKPS, SDPO Tangmarg assisted by Inspr Tawseef Habib, SHO PS Tangmarg arrested 2 Drug Peddlers namely Waseem Ahmad Dar S/O Mohd Sultan Dar R/O Watalpora and Javid Mohiuddin Bhat S/O Gh Mohiuddin Bhat R/O Allahpora Karhama* during routine patrolling at Ferozpora Tangmarg who were coming towards Ferozpora Tangmarg and upon seeing the patrolling party tried to flee from the spot but was apprehended tactfully.
During their personal search, 48 tablets of Spasmo Proxyvon Plus and 75 tablets of Alprox were recovered from them and were taken into custody immediately. The case under NDPS Act was registered in Police Station Tangmarg and investigations were set in motion. An investigation of the case is going on for further leads.
