Two bovine animals rescued

Police today in district Kathua rescued two bovines and arrested a bovine smugglers

JAMMU: Police today in district Kathua rescued two bovines and arrested a bovine smugglers. The vehicle used for carrying the bovine was also seized by police.

A police team of Police Post  Marheen led by PSI Swaran Singh Manhas under the supervision of SDPO Border  Pankaj Soodan JKPS during naka checking duty noticed the movement of one suspicious vehicle (Load Carrier) bearing registration number  JK08F-6290 en route from link road Blassa Kho, Marheen towards Chadwal which was being driven by a person namely Kuldeep Raj son of  Naseeb Chand of  Jogial, was signalled by police  to stop for checking.

During checking of the said vehicle, police found two bovine animals loaded in the vehicle mercilessly. On this an instant case has been registered at Police Station  Rajbagh vide FIR No. 91/2022 U/S 188/IPC, 11/PCA Act.
