SRINAGAR: Following the up-gradation of the road in Srinagar, the Traffic Police has issued an advisory to motorists.

As per the statement issued, ERA has started work on the up gradation of the road from Jehangir Chowk to Magarmal Bagh crossing and the work is expected to take at least two weeks for completion.

Traffic moving from Jehangir Chowk towards Iqbal Park should take the diversion towards Maharaja Bazar via HSHS, said a spokesperson of the Srinagar traffic police. “Vehicles bound for Barzulla from Amarsingh college/Tulsibagh will be diverted via Solina-Rambagh road.”

People, in general, are requested to use the Jehangir chowk flyover to reach Rambagh/Barzulla, city traffic police said.
