Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) today expressed dismay over the death of a Tamil Nadu Tourist , Thirumani at Narbal area and said that whole Kashmiri nation is grieved over the incident even we are being mercilessly killed and maimed by the Indian forces. A JKDFP spokesperson said in a statement that tourists are being targeted by elements who are hell bent to give the ongoing freedom movement a bad name. These elements have in future also tried to damage the freedom struggle of Kashmiri people but have failed so we firmly believe that anti-movement elements will fail again in their efforts.
The party termed the Narbal incident as unfortunate and expressed solidarity with the bereaved Chennai family.
JKDFP also expressed grief and sorrow over the passing away of another Shopian youth, Sufail Ahmad Bhat at SMHS. Sufail was injured by Indian forces and he succumbed today.
The party prayed for the speedy recovery of all the injured who are undergoing treatment. A JKDFP spokesperson expressed solidarity with the parents of Sufail Ahmad, a resident of Dachoo Shopian.
Meanwhile, JKDFP delegations visited south Kashmir areas and expressed solidarity with the families of those martyred or injured by the men in uniform in Shopian. A delegation led by Engineer Farooq Khan visited Dooru and Kulgam, another delegation led by Tanveer Ahmad reached Nagbal Shopian, delegation led by Mohammad Amin went to Rohmu Pulwama and the fourth delegation led by Majid Ahmad visited Ganderbal.
While paying rich and glowing tributes to Shaheed Saddam Paddar, Shaheed Bilal Ahmad, Shaheed Dr Rafi Ahmad, Shaheed Adil Malik and Shaheed Touseef Ahmad and six slain civilians, JKDFP said that whole Kashmir is in mourning after the unfortunate killings and injuring of people at Shopian. India and its local agents are busy in a well planned genocide of Kashmiri people so that people living in this part of the world will be terrorised. However the freedom loving Kashmiris have time and again proved that they are a mature nation and cannot surrender their political rights despite Indian oppression and suppression.
