TMC party delegation meets Election Commission in New Delhi; discusses issues related to free & fair polling in West Bengal

A five member delegation of the Trinamool Congress party today met the Election Commission in New Delhi and discussed issues related to free and fair polling in the upcoming elections in West Bengal. The delegation comprising Saugata Roy, Yashwant Sinha, Md Nadimul Haque, Pratima Mondal and Mahua Moitra met the media after the meeting.
 
Mahua Moitra MP said, the party raised the issue regarding the rule under which the commission is proposing to put only central forces within 100 metres of a polling booth. She said, the party also raised the alleged attack on Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee on 10th March.
