Three persons died in a road accident near Ramzan on Srinagar–Jammu highway.
They died when a truck they were traveling in skided off the road and went into a gorge near Ramban on Srinagar-Jammu highway early Friday morning.
The truck (registration number JK05E: 6580) was on its way to Jammu from Srinagar when it met with an accident and rolled down into a 1000-meter-deep gorge near Battery Chashma in Ramban district.
The bodies of three persons were retrieved during a rescue operation.
Their identity was yet to be ascertained when last reports came in. More details are awaited.
