Three civilians killed in Kulgam

Three youth, including a teenage girl, were shot dead by the government forces in Hawura-Redwani area of Kulgam district after clashes erupted between the locals and the forces on Saturday.

A medico confirmed the killing of three youth and identified them as Shakir Ahmad, 22, Irshad Majid, 20, Andleeb, girl, aged 16.

Reports also said that many people have been injured during the clashes.

Clashes erupted in the area after the forces tried to lay siege over inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
