Three Beekeeping clusters being established in Jammu, to get functional by Mar-2023

JAMMU: Vice Chairperson J&K KVIB, Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat on Tuesday chaired a review meeting regarding Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries (SFURTI). During the meeting, it was informed that three Beekeeping clusters are being established in Jammu division with a project cost of Rs. 4.08 crore.
State Director MSME-DI Jammu, Secretary/Chief Executive Officer, J&K KVIB, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, (P/R/S) J&K KVIB, Divisional Officer, KVIB Jammu and other stakeholders attended the meeting.
It was informed in the meeting that three Beekeeping clusters are being established in Jammu division with a project cost of Rs. 4.08 crore.
Vice Chairperson enjoined upon all stakeholders to put in coordinated efforts in getting these clusters functional by or before 31st of March-2023.
Vice Chairperson reiterated that by making the clusters operational, more than 600 beekeepers associated with these clusters will be benefitted.
