Among this year’s contenders determined to make their food dreams a reality in MasterChef Australia Season 11 is Sandeep Pandit, who is plating up a traditional feast from his hometown, Kashmir.
Sandeep is a Victorian IT project manager. His parents created a life of opportunity for their son and now, at 37 years old, this is his chance to make them proud of him.
As a lover of spice, Sandeep hopes to elicit a drop of sweat from Georgie Calombaris’ head with his signature dish.
Sandeep Pandit will be drawing on his family’s Kashmir heritage to wow the judges.
‘My parents worked very hard to make ends meet, so it was by necessity that I learned how to cook,’ he told 10 Daily on Wednesday.
The culinary hopefuls will compete under the watchful eyes of judges Matt Preston, George Calombaris and Gary Mehigan in the hopes of being crowned MasterChef 2019 winner.
