Udhampur: Deputy Commissioner, Krittika Jyotsna asked concerned Officers to submit progress of Aadhaar Registrations on a daily basis.
DC Krittika further called upon the concerned Departments to launch a mass awareness campaign to cover all population under Aadhaar enrolment.
To discuss the action plan for saturation of Aadhar cards and mandatory biometric update of all age groups, a meeting of District Level Aadhaar Monitoring Committee was held with DC, Krittika Jyotsna in the chair.
Detailed discussions were held on the mechanism to be adopted for Aadhaar saturation of all age groups and mandatory biometric update of children in the district.
The DC took a detailed review of the statistics of Aadhaar saturation process under different age groups and status of Aadhaar Seva Kendras operating in the district Udhampur. ICDS and Health Department were asked to complete enrollment of all children in the age group of 0-5 at concerned Anganwadi Centres and immunization centres.
The DC asked for establishing special Aadhaar enrolment counters in main health institutions of the District including other PHCs to ensure Aadhaar registration/enrolment facility for the enrollment of new born babies.
She asked the Officers of ICDS and Education Departments to monitor progress of the target population by notifying the schedule of project/school wise camps in coordination with UIDAI.
Special drive for awareness for residents will be arranged and facilitate document upload at Enrolment Centres and Camps, the DC added.
