Srinagar: College students today protested against the Kashmir University and disrupted traffic in Srinagar.
Students demanded relaxation in the syllabus, and shouted slogans of “50% syllabus”. The students alleged the new semester system and delayed examinations have increased their course syllabus in the final semesters.
Also, the students alleged that the results of earlier semesters are also pending, as such they are unaware of their backlogs. They urged the University authorities to declare the results of earlier semesters and relax the syllabus, so that their career does not suffer.
