Something wrong with men indulging in anti-women activities: CM

Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti Wednesday regretted that something was wrong with the men indulging in rape and murder of a girl child who is the manifestation of mother goddess.

Once again expressing her shock and anguish over the rape and murder of an eight year old girl in Rasana village of Kathua District in January this year, Chief Minister said how can someone commit such an assault on a small girl child who is the manifestation of Mata Vishno Devi?. “There is something wrong with the society.”

In presence of the President of India Ram Nath Kovind, the chief minister made the remarks during her address to the sixth convocation of Shri Mata Vishno Devi University.
