Soldier from Asifabad killed in Jammu

Jammu: A 43-year-old Army Jawan was killed in an exchange of fire between army and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.

Sources said that that deceased soldier was Rajesh Dakwa hailed from Ravindranagar village in Koutala mandal.

Rajesh died on the spot during an encounter with the group of terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. He rejoined the army following a request. He had retired from services a few years ago.

He is survived by a wife and two children. A pall of gloom descended over the village. The body is expected to be arrived to his native place by a special army flight by Tuesday evening.
