The law enforcing authorities in view of the anger brewing up among people against militant and civilian killings have put restrictions in sensitive areas of Kashmir valley. As already reported internet services continue to remain suspended across Kashmir.
Commercial establishments and offices are also closed, while government ordered closure of all educational institutions.
All examinations scheduled on Monday were also postponed by all three universities including Kashmir University, Islamic University and Central University. Public transport was off the roads.
In region’s summer capital Srinagar government enforced restrictions particularly in downtown areas.
