Short session of state assembly will begin tomorrow at 2.00 P.M exclusively for the election of new speaker assembly.
Nirmal Singh, the former Deputy Chief Minister is likely to be elected new Speaker Assembly as PDP-BJP coalition has almost decided him to field its candidate for the speaker’s election.
Sources also said that the opposition is unlikely to field its candidate against Nirmal keeping in view the numerical strength of PDP-BJP in the house of 89 members.
Singh’s election as new speaker assembly is almost a foregone conclusion.
He will replace Kavinder Gupta who was recently inducted into the state cabinet as Deputy Chief Minister in place of Nirmal Singh.
