Block Medical Officer (BMO) Pattan, Dr Masrat on Monday organized an Awareness camp about non communicable and communicable disease at Higher Secondary School Pattan.
On the directions of Director Health Services Kashmir (DHSK) and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Baramulla students and management of Higher Secondary School Pattan participated in this seminar.
Around hundred students and others were screened for diabetics and hypertension and also deforming programme.
100 tablets of albendazole were distributed among participants and also iron tab were distributed to the anemic students.
Specialists of Pattan hospital highlighted the issues Swach Bharat Mission, Personal hygiene, NCD diseases dental problems etc.
BMO Pattan, Dr Masrat told that “we should maintain personal hygiene and prevent adolescent students from communicable as well as non communicable diseases.”
She said that such awareness programmes will continue in block Pattan.
