Searches resume to fish out Sopore minor girl who jumped in Jhelum

Baramulla: The search operation to locate and fish out the body of a teenage girl who jumped in the river Jhelum near Jamia Qadeem bridge of Sopore town in Baramulla district, entered second day on Tuesday.

As per the reports, the search operation to trace the missing teenage girl resumed Tuesday morning.

The search is being carried out by a team of SDRF and local fishermen to locate the minor girl’s body.

On December 12 (Monday), a 17-year-old class 9th girl of Kralteng area of Apple town Sopore jumped into the river Jhelum.
