Schools upto middle standard closed in Kupwara due to inclement weather

Kupwara, Mar 23: The authorities on Tuesday ordered the closure of schools upto middle standard for a day in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district due to inclement weather conditions.

In a statement issued to the news agency chief education officer Kupwara, Abdul Hamid Fani said that all the schools upto middle standrad shall remain closed for today keeping in view the inclement weather conditions and for the safety of students.

“This is as per directions of DC Kupwara”, the statement said.

Notably, the border district experienced fresh rains across for the second consecutive day.
