Samba celebrates Lohri festival

Samba: District Administration Samba in collaboration with the Directorate of Tourism Thursday organized Lohri Festival at Samba Fort.

DDC Chairperson, Keshav Dutt Sharma was the chief Guest, while DDC Vice Chairman Blawan Singh, Deputy Commissioner Samba Anuradha Gupta and others were also present.

Lohri festival marks the beginning of a new season as the Sun starts ascending towards the Northern Hemisphere.

District Administration Samba have made elaborate arrangements to celebrate Lohri festival in which a large number of locals across the ages participated.

The event witnessed a scintillating cultural programme presented by local artists and professionals of Art & Culture Academy.
