Jammu June 01: The Covid 19 second wave is creating havoc across the country. After New Delhi. Jammu Kashmir has also been hit.
The scarcity of vaccinations is increasing on a regular basis and thousands are hospitalized because of the widespread of the deadly virus, be it in Jammu province or Kashmir.
With limited medical infrastructure available in militancy hit UT Jammu Kashmir, there are thousands of people who lost their lives. Many due to shortage of Oxygen. One man Salman Nizami who is associated with AICC & a popular National TV face but is more known for his social services, who stood as a support for the Migrant workers last year is back and he is taking up his good work. His team is reaching the towns & villages of the Jammu and Kashmir.
He is taking the requests on his twitter, Facebook, Whatsapp platform and his team is responding in minutes across the country specially Delhi & his home state Jammu and Kashmir. Right from the hospital beds to the medicines and the ration Nizami is arranging them with the help of his friends & colleagues. His team arranged oxygen concentrators in Delhi, Mumbai & Jammu Kashmir.
Also blood plasma in New Delhi, hospital beds and other medicines across the country. Requests flocked in to his Twitter, FB, Whatsapp account and Salman Nizami is quick to respond and forward them to his team. His humanitarian work turned out to be a hope for many. He had arranged buses for migrant workers from J&K who were stranded in Himachal, Punjab & other states last year. Salman Nizami brought hope and assured people to meet their requirements during this tough time.
It’s time to appreciate the work of Salman Nizami during this coronavirus pandemic times. He is known for his humanitarian work be it Kashmir floods, Kerala Floods, Assam Floods, Delhi Riots. Salman is always on forefront to help people irrespective of their caste and religion. And these heart-warming gestures of Salman have touched a millions. Every day some or the other wellwishers makes sure to praise him for his deeds. Not just on ground but the young politicians humanitarian work is being lauded by many on social media as well. Recently MP Shashi Tharoor, Gulf News Editor Sameer Bhatt tweeted in praise of Salman’s work. As a response, Nizami expressed his thanks on twitter for all the love and respect which he received from everyone.
