BUDGAM: DAP Leader and DDC BK Pora Saima Jan is deeply pained to know about the demise of an eminent Islamic scholar, reformer, educationist, preacher and former HOD Arabic department University of Kashmir, Hazrat Maulana Abdul Gani Azhari Sahab.
We have lost not only a legendary scholar of this era but also a great orator who single-mindedly devoted his entire life to conveying the true spirit of Islam. His death is a huge loss to the entire society and his educational and social services will always be remembered for years to come, she said.
May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannah. My sincere condolences to the bereaved family, relatives and all his admirers and well-wishers, she added.
