Sahitya Akademi organises Kashmiri Programme ‘Nari Chetna’ at JU


JAMMU, NOVEMBER 25: Sahitya Akademi New Delhi today organised Nari Chetna Programme in reverence of female poets and writers of Kashmiri Language, here at Urdu Department of Jammu University.

            While inaugurating the event, Convener Kashmiri Advisory Board at Sahitya Akademi Dr Aziz Hajini said that contribution of female writers and poets towards Kashmiri language and literature is noteworthy. He also gave detail of the programmes Sahitya Akademi is organising in Jammu during the current week.

The event was presided over by noted Kashmiri poetess Sunita Raina Pandit while Santosh Nadan, Dr Shahnaz Qadri, Ruby Nisa Khan and Kusum Tikoo presented their poems and short stories.

Head Department of Urdu Prof. Shohab Anayat Malik was also present on the occasion.
