Ruckus in Assembly over border firing

Noisy scenes were witnessed in the legislative Assembly on Monday over the heightened tensions across the Line of Control(LoC), as it was adjourned for 10 minutes.

According to the KNS correspondent, as the speaker on Monday was about to start the proceedings of the House in the Zero Hour, the opposition members led by NC leader Devinder Singh Rana jumped into the well to protest against civilian killing along LoC.
NC MLA from Pahalgam in south Kashmir Altaf Kaloo shouted that one youth has been injured in Army firing in Kulgam area. This infuriated opposition members, who raised slogans: ‘Modi sarkar haai haai, PDP-BJP Sarkar Haai Haai, RSS Sarkar Haai Haai.
“Stop doing politics over dead bodies,” Ali Muhammad Sagar shouted.

BJP MLAs along with Independent MLA Pawan Gupta shouted anti Pakistan slogans in House.

As the rukus continued, the speaker adjourned the House for 10 minutes.
