Jammu: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) national president Dr Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday arrived here on four day visit.
Dr Bhagwat during his stay at Jammu will meet various sections of the society, hold deliberations and will also discuss the situation post revocation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.
This is the first visit of Dr Bhagwat to Jammu and Kashmir after the removal of the ‘special status’ of the former state.
RSS sources said that Dr Bhagwat in the afternoon reached Keshav Bhawan–the head office of the RSS in Jammu and Kashmir.
Every year, the RSS holds review meetings across the country and this year, the program for Jammu and Kashmir was scheduled, they said adding that Dr Bhagwat will hold review meetings with RSS leadership in the region.
“The leader will take review of works done by the RSS in Jammu and Kashmir after the revocation of Article 370 and COVID pandemic,” sources said.
During his four days stay, Dr Bhagwat will meet the RSS cadre on October 1 and 2, he will address a seminar at Gen Zorawar Singh Auditorium, Jammu University.
On October 3, the Sarsanghchalak will guide the volunteers of the Sangh through an online mode about working in Jammu and Kashmir.
