SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir government Monday said that it has extended Rs. 2 Lakh insurance cover to the entire workforce including those in the unorganized sector.

In a tweet, the Office of LG J&K said, “Chaired a review meeting of Labour & Employment Dept today. Govt to extend Rs. 2 Lakh insurance cover to entire workforce including those in the unorganized sector. Efforts will be made to saturate self-employment & a mega job fair to be organized in Jammu & Srinagar”.
