ANANTNAG: A  Revenue department official has been placed suspension over casual approach over preventing encroachment.

Reports suggest that Sub Divisional Magistrate Bijbehara Tuesday placed Patwari, Patwar Halqa Wopzan Bijbehara under suspension for ‘casual approach’ towards preventing encroachments.

As per the order issued here, the Patwari has been placed under suspension, for a casual approach towards the removal of encroachment, with immediate effect and shall remain attached with the office of SDM Bijbehara.

Tehsildar Bijbehara has been in the meantime directed to conduct an inquiry into the matter and submit a detailed report within 10 days. (GNS)
