Reciprocate bonhomie offer of Imran: Mehbooba tells Modi

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president and former chief minister, Mehbooba Mufti on Saturday asked the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to reciprocate over the bonhomie offer by the cricketer-turned-politician, Imran Khan whose party emerged as the single largest party in the erectly held polls in Pakistan.

Addressing a gathering on party’s raising day in Srinagar, Mehbooba said, “Pakistan is getting a new dispensation, a new prime minister. Imran Khan has made an offer of bonhomie. I want to appeal PM Modi to respond to the offer positively.”

Mehbooba said that Article 35-A is a challenge for all Kashmiri political parties. She appealed all the parties to set aside differences and fight together to protect it.

“All the parties should set aside differences and defend the article the way we did during past two years,” she said.
