Senior BJP leader and Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar has said the real takeaway of the assembly elections is complete eclipse of the Congress throughout the country. In a series of tweets, Mr Javadekar said the Congress could not win Assam and Kerala and lost Puducherry while in West Bengal, it drew a blank. He said in these elections, BJP has retained power in Assam despite Congress-AIUDF alliance, made a big jump from three MLAs to about 80 MLAs in West Bengal and wrested Puducherry from Congress.
